Finding Light in the Shadows: A Testimony of Hope and Healing

Hey friends, I want to share with you a very personal piece of my journey, a time when the world seemed to close in around me, and the light was hard to find. Last week, I found myself in a place I hadn’t been in six years—a place so dark, I felt like I was drowning with no way to surface.

It’s in these moments that we’re tested, where our faith feels like it’s hanging by a thread. But I am reminded that even when we can’t see the way out, God is there. He never leaves us to face the darkness alone. He sends us lifelines, sometimes in the form of angels on earth. For me, that angel was my husband, who stood by me, talked me through the storm, and helped guide me back to the light.

I want to tell you, whoever you are reading this, that there is always hope. No matter how deep the valley, how suffocating the night, God is working, even when His presence isn’t felt. He’s there in the love of those who surround us, in the hands that hold us up when we can’t stand on our own.

So, hold on tight to those who lift you, who speak truth and life into your soul, who reflect God’s light into your darkest corners. They are the beacons God uses to lead us back to Him. And remember, you’re not alone. You are loved, you are valued, and there’s a community here that cares deeply about you.

Stay strong, keep the faith, and let’s walk this path of light together.

How can I pray for you this week?
