A Miracle in Our Family: Welcoming Baby Lily Grace

Hey there, friends! I’ve got some amazing news to share with you all today. Our family has been blessed with a beautiful new addition, and I’m thrilled to officially announce that I’m now an aunt to the most precious little miracle, Lily Grace!

This journey to meet Lily has been quite the rollercoaster. Just yesterday, we found ourselves in a whirlwind of emotions as my sister Jenni was rushed to the hospital. The hours ticked by slowly as we waited, prayed, and hoped for good news. And let me tell you, God sure did answer those prayers!

At 10:10 pm last night, our little Lily Grace made her grand entrance into this world. She’s a healthy bundle of joy, weighing in at 8lbs 7oz and measuring 21.25″ long. Isn’t God amazing?

Now, here’s something that makes Lily extra special to us – she’s our family’s newest rainbow baby, just like our Dominick. For those who might not know, a rainbow baby is a child born after a loss. Lily is living proof that after every storm, God truly does paint the sky with the most beautiful colors. We’ve prayed for this little one so much, and seeing her story unfold is a powerful testament to God’s faithfulness and love.

I’m in absolute awe of my sister Jenni’s strength. Can you believe she endured 18 hours of labor? Wow! While she’s facing some minor complications, we’re trusting God for her complete recovery. If you’re reading this, I’d be so grateful if you could keep Jenni in your prayers as she heals and adjusts to motherhood.

To my brother-in-law Mark and my amazing sister Jenni – congratulations on your beautiful daughter! The love you already have for Lily is so evident, and it’s such a blessing to witness. I know you’re going to be incredible parents.

As for me, well, I’m over the moon about being an aunt! I can’t wait to spoil little Lily with love, cuddles, and lots of prayers. It’s incredible how such a tiny person can fill our hearts with so much love already.

Welcoming Lily into our family reminds me of the verse from Psalm 127:3, “Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from him.” How true that is!

So here’s to new beginnings, answered prayers, and the joy of welcoming this precious little one into our lives. Welcome to the world, Lily Grace! Your Aunt Sarah loves you more than you’ll ever know.
